It's small and has all you can eat sushi. The staff are lovely, the foods good, price reflects quality. Love gomae and the light tempura . Rolls were average so was the sashimi. Nice little date spot.
This place is under rated, I ate here today they have an eat-all-you can option for just 39.95 from appetizers, donburi, sushi, sashimi and ramen. The serving at a time is small but definitely worth it because if you don’t know what you want yet then having just a little of the menu is good enough. My partner ordered single serve and they were definitey big servings. The taste is spot on. The seafood is fresh, shirmp and fish, the sushi rice is freshly cooked too. The fish slides on your tongue and have that buttery freshness to it. I never thought I’ll find a gem like this here in Winnipeg. Whenever I get a Japanese cuisine cravings this will be my new go to place. Food quality is great, price is just right, the place is clean and the staff are courteous. I will definitely go back and bring family and friends too. This is my 4th sushi on top of my shrimp tempura btw.
Quite little place with a heart of gold! I ordered: Miso soup, sushi rice, assorted tempura and super dynamite roll. The rice was nicely seasoned and perfectly sticky. Assorted tempura was more than i had expected it had shrimp, sweet potato mushroom and zucchini. Very tasty and hot when it arrived. Super dynamite roll was just amazingly wow, i have a new favourite forsure!! The server was beyond friendly and food came out hot and quick! I highly recommend this place
I do not understand the reviews. I have consistently had 4 great orders. Personally I enjoy the style and the way it tastes. And I have to say the miso soup is always consistently fresh, hot, and has adequate ingredients where other restaurants fail. I always get the salmon lover combo and load a few extra things in case I'm not full...but I am. The only thing I wasn't a fan of tonight was the ginger. It was quite dry I did not even try to eat it. The endamame didn't taste great either. But otherwise they make the perfect order every time, they never forget any condiments or chopsticks when requested. Always napkins and packed nicely in a reusable white bag. I love this place. I definitely don't understand the bad reviews, give this place a try! Update: unfortunately today is the the I splurged on this place and spent 100 dollars and everything was awful. Avocados taste bad/old, you can even see some black on it. Squishy and yellow looking. Miso soup even had no taste. All the rolls were tiny and nothing tasted fresh. The rolls are currently way overpriced for what you're getting. The quality was not it today. Even the ginger looked gross. The rice was squishy and mushy. I feel so disappointed because I was treating myself after getting an award at school but this was not a treat, it was a mess. Oh yeah and the sashimi in the salmon liver box was a joke. 4 tiny little squares. What the heck? You guys need to fix something over there...it's not up to your usual quality.
Me and my friend dined in yesterday to have an all you can eat and tbh it was a surprisingly good experience, especially the food quality and seasoning, comparing to the other two sushi buffets in town. Also, serving was quick with the food freshly fried, we were so satisfied about this and personally I strongly recommend the Miso Soup you can not get this somewhere else.
